An AI assistant for Gmail, Outlook, Drive and Dropbox, with no setup

UnlockGPT works with the accounts you already have. Connect Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, Dropbox and your calendars, then ask a question in plain words. It searches all of them at once and answers with the emails and files it found. There is nothing to organise first.

Most people do not have one inbox. They have a work Gmail, a personal Gmail, maybe an Outlook account from a client or an old job, a shared Drive and a Dropbox full of scans. Every search means guessing which account to open first.

Many productivity tools answer this with a project: move everything into one place, build folders, write rules, set up integrations. UnlockGPT takes the opposite approach. Your accounts stay as they are, and the assistant goes to them.

Ask once, across every account

A typical question looks like this:

Find the invoice from the plumber. It was in one of my two inboxes, or maybe in Drive.

UnlockGPT searches both inboxes and your Drive in parallel, reads the matching messages and files, and tells you where the invoice is and what it says. You did not have to say which account, which folder, or what the file was called.

Other questions that work the same way:

  • What did my accountant ask me for this month, and did I answer?
  • Find the contract John sent last month, and tell me if I have a meeting with him this week.
  • Which of my clients have I not replied to since Monday?
  • Summarise the PDF attached to the latest email from the school.

What you can connect

  • Gmail, including email attachments.
  • Google Drive, with the content of Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
  • Google Calendar.
  • Outlook mail and calendar.
  • Dropbox files and folders.
  • GitHub, read-only, for repositories, pull requests, issues and commits.

What “no setup” means

  1. Create your account and choose a password.
  2. Connect an account. You sign in on Google, Microsoft or Dropbox's own page, and we never see your password.
  3. Ask your first question.

There are no folders to reorganise and no filters or rules to write. You do not need to learn how to write prompts: plain sentences work, in English, Italian or the language you use every day. There is also no integration to configure, no API key and no automation builder.

If you want more, you can describe your work in a few lines. UnlockGPT then scans your recent email, files and calendar and sets up your projects and dated to-dos for you. That step is optional, and it is also done by the assistant, not by you.

What it does with what it finds

Searching is the start. Once it has found the right emails and files, the assistant can:

  • Draft an email. The draft appears in the chat with a button that opens it in Gmail or Outlook, with recipients, subject and text already filled in. You review it and press send. UnlockGPT never sends an email by itself.
  • Write a document. Reports, letters, presentations, diagrams and spreadsheets you can view, print or export.
  • Keep track of the work. It can turn what it found into to-dos with due dates, and appointments you can download as calendar files.
  • Work with your documents. Upload PDFs and Office files to a project, and the assistant can read and quote them in later chats.

Your Google mail, Drive and calendar are connected with read-only access. The assistant does not delete, move or archive anything in your accounts.

Who it is for

UnlockGPT is built for people whose work is spread over several accounts: freelancers with a personal and a client inbox, small business owners who share a Drive with an accountant, consultants who work inside a client's Outlook, families who keep scans in Dropbox. If you have ever searched the same thing in three tabs, it is for you.

It also helps if you do not like to file things. Because the assistant reads the content of emails and files, it does not matter that the invoice was called “scan_0042.pdf” or that the thread had the subject “re: re: quick question”. You describe what you remember, and it finds the rest.

Why it does not copy your inbox

Many tools that search your email first copy all of it into their own database. UnlockGPT reads your mail live from your provider when you ask a question, and the access tokens for your accounts are stored encrypted.
